The Day of Action to #StopTheShock was held on April 24th, 2019, the five-year anniversary of an FDA hearing that found the use of GED shocks at the Judge Rotenberg Center ineffective and harmful. The action included people from all over the US working together to show the FDA through emails, phone calls, selfies, posts and real-life wait-ins that #WeAreStillWaiting for them to release a rule that would end the use of GED shocks.
