We’re in the fight, and we need YOU to join us!

This summer, the disability community will experience two important milestones: the 29th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the 20th anniversary of the Olmstead decision. In this landmark Supreme Court Case, two women with intellectual and psychiatric disabilities, Lois Curtis and Elaine Wilson, sued for their right to receive services outside of an institution — and won. Their victory led to twenty years of progress for people with disabilities, as we move closer to realizing the ADA’s promise of a fully inclusive society. At ASAN, we believe in honoring milestones through action, and we’ve been celebrating these anniversaries by fighting every day for our right to live the lives we want. We invite you to celebrate with us by donating to keep this important work going.

As a small nonprofit, ASAN relies on donations to fund our work. Here are just some of the ways we put your donations to use in our fight:

All of this work is only possible thanks to your help. Celebrate with us this summer by donating to fund our work, or support us by checking out our books or merchandise. If you aren’t able to donate yourself, we absolutely understand — you can help us without spending any money by starting a Facebook fundraiser or just spreading the word about our work

We’re so grateful for everything you do, and we’re looking forward to working together as we continue to fight for people with disabilities to be included everywhere. With your support, we’ll make sure everyone knows: Nothing About Us, Without Us!
