Join us on April 5: Hands Off our rights, our services, and our futures

Group of people's hands on top of each other.

Right now, billionaires and politicians are trying to strip away our rights and funding for vital services, and with that they are stripping the futures from millions of disabled Americans. The Trump administration, along with Elon Musk and their allies in Congress, are gutting Social Security, Medicaid, and just recently disbanded the Administration for Community Living, a government agency that worked to keep disabled people and older adults out of institutions. They are slashing jobs and handing over our government to the highest bidder. They think they can take whatever they want — because they think no one will stop them. But they’re wrong.

On Saturday, April 5, people across the country are coming together to say Hands Off!

The communities under attack — disabled people, trans people, people of color, immigrants, and so many others — have always had to fight for our survival. When politicians and billionaires try to take away the programs we rely on, like our health care, our community living, and our supports, they are attacking our communities. When they attack immigrants, trans people, disabled people, and other marginalized groups, they are trying to divide us. But we know the truth: their power grab affects us all.

This is a moment for all of us to speak up — whether you’re outraged by the attacks on our democracy, the rising cost of living, or the assault on the services we need to survive. Hands Off is a nationwide movement to reject the corruption, greed, and disregard for our lives we have seen from this administration.

Join us and others around the country to take action! Find a Hands Off! event near you here.

The power is in our hands — let’s make our voices heard and show them that our communities will not be ignored.
